HOWEVER, ALL IS NOT LOST BECAUSE TONKA STILL HAS A LOT OF GOOD MECHANICAL PARTS STILL IN TACT……DANIEL AND ALEX HAVE LOOKED AND LOOKED FOR A PROJECT AND ALAS THEY HAVE FOUND TONKA JR. AFTER TRAVELING TO DAYTON TN TO PICK IT UP THEY PLAN ON BRINGING TONKA BACK TO LIFE IN A MODIFIED MANNER. CAN’T WAIT UNTIL THEY GET THIS PROJECT UNDERWAY AND TAKING CARE OF. THAT OLE JEEP WAS SENTIMENTAL TO MOST OF US HERE AT ABC!!!!! STAY IN TOUCH FOR SOME UPDATES!!!!!
ACCIDENTS ARE NOT THE ONLY TIME WE GO OUT. AND AUTOMOBILES ARE NOT THE ONLY THING WE TOW. ABC TOWING LOVES GETTING CALLS LIKE THIS! THIS MASSEY FERGUSON TRACTOR HAS BEEN DRUG OUT OF THE BUSHES ON THE FARM! DANIEL AND ALEX WENT OUT AND TOOK CARE OF GETTING IT LOADED UP AND HAULED BACK INTO THE OFFICE. HOPEFULLY IT WILL NOT TAKE THEM LONG TO BREATH SOME LIFE BACK INTO IT! CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THIS BABY WHEN IT RUNS AGAIN!!!!!
RAIN ALWAYS MAKES THE ROADS MORE SLICK THEREFORE MORE DANGEROUS. THE BEGINNING OF RAIN STORMS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS TO BE DRIVING, THAT IS WHEN THE ROADS ARE THE SLICKEST. JOHN HAD TO GO OUT AND TAKE CARE OF THIS ACCIDENT CAUSED BY SLICK ROADS AND A DRIVER LOSING CONTROL. DUE TO THE FENCE BEING DOWN IT MADE THIS TOW A LITTLE TRICKIER. WE STRIVE TO MAKE SURE THAT OUR OPERATORS ARE TRAINED FOR ALL SITUATIONS. THANKFULLY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WERE ABLE TO KEEP THE ROADS CLEAR AND SAFE FOR JOHN TO DO HIS JOB
ABC TOWING AND REPAIR WAS CALLED OUT TO AN ACCIDENT SCENE TO TAKE CARE OF THIS GENTLEMAN THAT HAS UNFORTUNATELY LOST HIS DRIVERS FRONT TIRE CAUSING HIS TO LOOSE CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE AND HAVE A WRECK. EVEN THOUGH THIS WRECK WASN’T ON A MAJOR ROAD IT STILL CAUSED SOME MINOR TRAFFIC ISSUES. JOHN WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER THE TRUCK AROUND AND GET IT LOADED UP WHERE HE TOOK IT BACK TO OUR LOT TO AWAIT ON THE NEXT STEPS. ANY TIME A VEHICLE IS MISSING A TIRE/WHEEL IT MAKES OUR JOBS A LITTLE MORE DIFFICULT, BUT WE STRIVE TO GET THE JOB DONE THOROUGHLY AND AS EFFICIENT AS POSSIBLE
ABC TOWING AND REPAIR WAS CALLED OUT TO BATTLEFIELD PKWY ON SATURDAY TO TAKE CARE OF THIS ACCIDENT. UNFORTUNATELY 2A IS SUCH A BUSY HIGHWAY THAT OFTEN TIMES VEHICLES ARE OVERLOOKED. THANKFUL FORT OGLETHORPE CITY AND GEORGIA STATE PATROL WAS QUICK AND EFFICIENT. THE ACCIDENT SCENE WAS CLEANED UP AND THE ROADS OPENED BACK UP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. DANIEL WAS ABLE TO GET “BLACKIE, (OUR ROLLBACK)” OUT AND GET THIS VEHICLE LOADED UP AND BACK TO THE SHOP SAFELY. ACCIDENTS ARE NEVER ANY FUN AND ARE ALWAYS A SCARY TIME FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED, WE TRY TO HELP THE FAMILIES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WHEN DEALING WITH THIS.
ABC TOWING travels it doesn’t have to be local for us to go pick your vehicle up. Daniel and Alex went out and picked up this Jeep that is in need of a motor. They were able to successfully load it up and bring it back to the office. Hopefully they will have it up and running in no time. I must say, she is a good looking vehicle and will probably make a great “woods toy”. We will hopefully have some new pictures here pretty soon of the improvements and will update.
Georgia State Patrol called ABC Towing out by customer request to Rock Springs. Unfortunately someone crossed the yellow line and caused this gentleman to leave the road. He was not able to control the vehicle at this point. GSP was on their toes as always keeping us safe while we did out job and got the vehicle loaded and the roadways cleared up. Thankfully Daniel was on his toes and was able to get it taken care of quickly, this accident was right at the time of school dismissal. This gentleman was extremely lucky because he walked away with no injuries at all, HIS DOG was a little shaken up but was fine as well. Anytime we get called out to an accident scene and there are no injuries we are more than happy and say a Thank you to the man upstairs!!!!!
ABC TOWING AND REPAIR IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE EVERY DAY RUN OF THE MILL TOWING COMPANY! This customer purchased a camper and needed a little assistance getting it to its new home. We didn’t hesitate to take out the Dodge (“Betty Wide” is the name of this particular truck that we use in our fleet) and hook up to the 5th wheel 15,000 lb camper. Another satisfied customer under our belt, another safe haul. Thanks to all of our customers because you allow us to become the best at what we do! Make sure you keep us in mind for any and all needs you may have.
Definitely not how this gentleman wanted his Friday night to end up. Luckily the driver in this single vehicle accident is okay, walked away with no injuries.Anytime a vehicle rolls over the chances of injuries are more extreme. ABC Towing was called out to Burning Bush rd by Catoosa County on Friday night to clean up this accident scene. Daniel was able to get out to the scene quickly and with the help of Catoosa County by closing the road down he was able to get the truck out of the ditch and the road opened back up. Thankfully traffic wasn’t stopped for very long, the driver was satisfied and appreciative of the services that we provided.
ABC Towing was called out today to Battlefield PKWY by some kind folks whom unfortunately had some truck troubles. A couple of our drivers took out our medium duty truck to take care of them. This tow definitely required Max due to the sheer size of the truck; add the load that was on the flatbed and you are looking at 13,300 lbs minimum. That is quiet the haul…. “Max” (or Black Max) is not used very often HOWEVER when she is needed, she gets the job done for us. This Ford F-350 had to be towed back to the office for some pretty major repairs. The truck is going to have to have a rear differential installed. It is going to take a couple of days but we will have this truck back on the road in no time.
